George’s practice spans a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious maritime matters. He has extensive experience advising and representing shipowners, charterers, insurers and other maritime stakeholders in relation to a wide range of wet and dry shipping disputes, including salvage, wreck removal, collisions, crew claims, bunker and charterparty disputes, as well as vessel performance and underperformance claims.

He has also acted in connection with ship arrests and the enforcement of maritime claims across multiple jurisdictions.
In addition to his shipping practice, George advises on securities enforcement litigation, compulsory enforcement proceedings and disputes arising from asset finance transactions.

George is an accredited mediator, complementing his litigation practice with experience in alternative dispute resolution and negotiated settlements.
