Elias joined the firm in 2012 and works in all areas of shipping and trade disputes in the context of both arbitration and court proceedings. He has experience in a wide range of wet and dry shipping matters, predominantly arising from charterparty, cargo, collision and marine insurance claims.

He also handles a substantial portion of the Firm’s transactional and corporate non-contentious work, ranging from shipping transactions, shareholders’ agreements, loan agreements and services agreements to vessel registrations and compliance, ship sale and purchase, shipbuilding and refit contracts and yacht charterparties.

He further advises clients on a broad range of corporate law matters, including the establishment and structuring of domestic and offshore companies, bond issuance and corporate restructuring. He has also been the leading lawyer in a series of salvage cases, where he acted for the tug owners.
